Hello Holiday meets the Big Plate

Last month Todd Long from The Big Plate interviewed Hello Holiday co-founder Megan Hunt about our launch. It’s full of personal, well-worded questions and a lot of insight about the direction and strategy behind Hello Holiday! Here’s an excerpt:

TBP:  What was the hardest part of building out an e-commerce model?

MH: Maybe the hardest part was trying to predict the behavior of our customers–what is the eye drawn to first on the page? How do people like to check out and complete the payment process? How do they share?  How do they open their packages? And, HOW CAN WE BUILD THAT? Coming up with interactive strategies is hard. Building it is harder. I think people will notice continuous development and upgrades on our website.

We’re back with Hello Holiday Sneak Peek Week day 3, did you miss us?

Today Meg is wearing our Best Friend in Boca Dress, paired with pale pink mary janes and our vintage, beaded Reverse the Purse. Oh yeah, it’s reversible!

For those outside the Midwest, we’re in the middle of a pretty unbearable heatwave. We love this dress because it’s comfy cotton and not too restricting —the perfect dress for looking put together without passing out from discomfort on hot summer days.

We’re also pretty head over heels about the coral trim and bow belt on this dress. Isn’t it the most?

We’ve still got two more preview looks to show you this week, so stay tuned, and if you missed looks one and two, be sure to check them out!
